What is Mesolift?
We can explain the application as Westerners call skin revitalization in a broad sense as providing life to the skin, or we can shortly translate it as skin rejuvenation. Actually, it is the process of replacing the structures that are vital for the skin, that decrease over time or that have the ability to increase the repair capacity of the skin.
Who and what is this treatment for?
- People with dull skin
- Slow downing the aging of the skin
- Refining tired expression on the face
- Treating the loss of elasticity and sagging in the skin
- Minimizing and treating skin damages for smokers
- Eliminating the sun damage on the skin
- Alleviating or eliminating skin spots
- Treatment of scars, acne scars and burns
- Stretch mark treatment
How is the Mesolift applied?
Usually, the methods are based on the principle of delivering the active substance to the target tissue with micro injections through very thin needles, or with low voltage electric currents or ultrasound without a needle. These are by no means produced for cosmetic purposes; all of them are substances used in treating the soft tissue injuries and in other fields of medicine.
Which substances are used in Mesolift?
Although these applications are known as vitamin injections among the people, in fact, a very small group of vitamins can provide effectiveness when applied to the skin in this way. It is known that most of the vitamins have higher benefits when taken systemically. The most frequently used substances for skin rejuvenation can be listed as hyaluronic acid, glucosamine sulfate, DNA extracts from fish roe and amino acid mixtures that are recently popular. Hyaluronic acid and glucosamine sulfate are used as regeneratives and reparatives in intra-articular and cartilage degeneration. DNA extracts from fish roe are used in wounds and burns, especially in contact areas of long-term bedridden patients.
How does Mesolift work?
Considering that our skin is also a soft tissue, these substances are expected to show the same repair and renewal effects on the skin surface. Moreover, hyaluronic acid, which is capable of retaining thousand times more water than its own volume, acts as an excellent deep moisturizer. Amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, stimulate the skin’s repair masters, the fibroblasts.
These vitamins, amino acids and nutrients provided via mesotherapy are aimed to increase skin rejuvenation in general. At the same time, the skin is tightened and brightened. Considering that our elastic fibers float on the skin, in a sugar and protein pool water, enrichment of this liquid is important to prolong the life of the fibers.
What are the areas that Mesolift is applied to?
These treatments are effective in every area from the face, neck, hand back, cleavage, under-arm, to the abdomen and legs, and are applied in 4 to 6 sessions, once or twice a week, depending on the condition of the skin. It is possible to use a local anesthetic cream to avoid pain prior to the application. However, it usually does not require any anesthesia.
In case of starting treatment without waiting for aging and the appearance of the first wrinkles, it is possible to keep the skin young for a long time and ensure the delay of aging. These methods are used in the treatment of newly formed and purple-pink stretch marks as well.
